Omaha, NE - WEB LSU claimed the national title Monday night with a win over Florida in Game 3 of the championship series. The Tigers bounced back from a College World Series rout in Game 2 to post a rout of its own throttling Florida for an MCWS-record 24 hits en route to a 15-5 victory.
It is LSU's first national championship since 2017 and the program's seventh overall.
